After over a dozen estimates for a new air conditioner, furnace, and duct work, I knew after speaking with Rich from cam hvac they were the company I wanted to perform the work. Although the reason for replacing my existing AC units were unfortunate (Super Storm Sandy), it gave me the opportunity to work with the delightfully professional group at CAM HVAC, lead by Rich.

While I had interviewed a number of HVAC contractors, from the onset, Rich set himself apart by his spot on appraisal of my situation, and didn’t talk down to me or attempt to oversell me.

I was pleased with the selection of Trane equipment, as I was already aware of it’s reliability and efficiency.

The pleasant experience continued with the installation and testing of the equipment, as they continued the professionalism, and took genuine interest in making sure that the units operated correctly, and that I was informed as to their usage and maintenance.

I recently built a new custom home and had CAM HVAC bid on my job. From the professional and complete proposal to the ultimate full completion of the job CAM was a pleasure to deal with and performed very professionally throughout.

The job was complex, with four Trane heating and cooling zones, full Honeywell zoning, as well as humidification, electronic sir cleaners, and finally, a whole house air exchange system.

One of the things, which inspired us, were when we phoned you, you returned our phone call promptly. We recently employed CanHyvac to install a furnace, air conditioner, and hot water heater. They responded to our request with a detailed written quote for the service, and also offered detailed explanation of them verbally. The installation was performed in a timely manner on the date and time stated. Their work was professional, and more then met our expectations. The day of the work was on an oppressively hot one, and two power failures added to the adverse working conditions. Rich and his workers Jeff and Justin were extremely skilled and pleasant throughout the entire instillation. The following day, (Sunday) we received a followup call to determine if everything was working to our satisfaction. I would recommend the services of Cam without reservation.

About two years ago I had my hot water heater replaced by CAM HVAC after getting great recommendation from a friend. The work was done efficiently and professionally. Recently, when it came time to consider replacing my furnace and air conditioner I had no concerns about going back to Richie at CAM HVAC. From the estimating phase all the way thru installation CAM was very thorough and concise. The work was completed on time again with exceptional professionalism and
workmanship. I would have no reservations using CAM HVAC again and would gladly recommend them to anyone I know looking to get a quality job completed at reasonable rates.

Recently we converted our home from oil to natural gas. The oil system we had was forced warm air which heated our two story home. We also had central air conditioning. Upon learning that NJNG would be running gas down our street we immediately signed up. We started looking for an HVAC contractor. CAM HVAC services came highly recommended. After speaking with Rich about our options we felt comfortable and decided to hire CAM. Rich came to our home again this time with Jeff his “right hand man” as he refers to him. We decided to have a hydronic system installed. From that point on we dealt with Jeff. He designed radiant heat for the entire first floor. Our second floor is heated with hot water coil acting as warm air. We also had new central air conditioning installed as well as all new duct work. They gave us several options to choose from and we decided to go with all super high efficiency equipment. We couldn’t be more please!

CAM did all that they promised from laying down drop cloths wherever they worked, cleaning up as they went along to keeping us informed step by step. Their attention to details was kept to the completion of the job. The workmanship of the complete system is first rate. Not to be over looked was the fact that they showed up on time. And Judy in the office was a pleasure to work with too.

Please be advised that Cam HVAC company recently installed my new air conditioner and furnace on August 8. Their work is triple A, to say the least Rich and Jeff worked cleanly, professionally, and courteously, I highly recommended them for all your HVAC needs.

In September our air-conditioning compressor was beyond repair. A friend had just recently replaced his and recommended Rich from CAM HVAC. It was without a doubt one of the best recommendations I had received. Rich was on time for our scheduled estimate, he was courteous, and he fully explained what would be done. Also, the fairness of his quote made him the obvious choice.

Rich and Jeff arrived exactly on time. They took time to prep the entrance way in and out of our home and continued to clean up as they progressed. When they
finished the work area was spotless.

Throughout the entire process they were very courteous and professional. As promised, the old air-conditioning unit and furnace were removed and replaced in
one day. They installation looks better than the original.

We recently undertook and extensive home renovation which included installation of a second HVAC system in addition to the current system. Upon completion we
experienced recurrent leaking of water from beneath the existing furnace onto the basement floor as well as inefficient performance from both the new and the old
systems. After repeated failed attempts to address these concerns we subsequently contacted Richard Maranitz of CAM HVAC Services.

Following a thorough explanation of the problem Rich expertly replaced the improperly installed and inefficient ducting in the previously existing system, and
found and corrected the problem with the air-conditioning unit that caused water to repeatedly leak onto the basement floor. He also reinstalled the new unit which had been improperly installed and replaced its inefficient and substandard duct work.

Installation of the new system had also resulted in the production of a loud noise in the wall of one of our bedrooms. This noise was caused by Freon coursing through the air conditioning ducts. We had been advised that it would be necessary to absorb the expense and inconvenience of opening the bedroom wall to eliminate the cause of this noise. Rich saved us the considerable expense and aggravation this incorrect and unnecessary course of action would have triggered.

All of this was accomplished within just a few days with no measurable disruption to our family routine and in a most cordial, professional, and cost effective manner.

I recently (9/10/2011) had two heating and A/C units replaced in my house which also required some new duct and pipe work. Let me say right off the bat that my experience with CAM has been extremely positive.

First, they hit all the marks I look for: responsiveness, promptness, courtesy and integrity. There was absolutely no attempt to overall – CAM provided me with a set of options to choose from that was right for the size of my home and budget. This was a big plus since by this point, I was looking for a quality installer, not a salesman. I was also able to ask any question on options/vendors and they were able to give me straight-forward and informative answers; which made the decision process easier.

There was good attention to detail for the installation – keeping the work area very clean and telling me what they were doing at each major step. Best of all and I can’t stress this enough they made the rebate process really easy. I had selected energy-efficient units and CAM was not only able to tell me about all the rebate programs in this state, but once the work was completed, they gave me all the forms I needed with all non-personal information filled out. They provided instructions and had each packet of forms stapled together. All I had to do was fill in stuff like name and address and mail them out.

They did a great job and that’s why I’m sending this positive feedback.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, Jeff and Judy for making the experience of renovating this older retirement home that much more enjoyable. Your attention to every detail concerning the heat, air conditioning, and hot water relieved my concerns and guided me to choose the most energy efficient system on the market today.
